Rainbow Mountain Resort, a resort in the Poconos Serving the LGBTQ+ Community Since 1981
Project:
As Owner of Rainbow Mountain Resort from 2017-2019, I led a comprehensive brand and resort experience relaunch to revive a beloved brand in the LGBTQ+ community. This involved creating a new logo design and branding architecture, launching a new website and a dynamic new marketing campaign that spanned e-mail, digital advertising, social media, print, and events. The hotel and restaurant facilities were also renovated, and I created new events for the Pool and Club that generated buzz and a significant increase in sales.
After the sale of Rainbow Mountain, I stayed on as Marketing & Sales Operations Consultant until mid-2023 where I managed all marketing outreach as well as website design and ongoing website management.
Results:
By implementing a comprehensive range of branding, marketing and resort experience strategies, Rainbow Mountain experienced an amazing transformation. Within two years, revenue increased by over 50%. This success was solidified through the highly successful sale of Rainbow Mountain in 2019. As the Marketing & Operations Consultant, I continued to drive growth and engagement through a series of marketing campaigns and social media initiatives that resulted in increased bookings and continued success for the resort as a top destination for the LGBTQ+ Community.
